Heather, I liked that you picked this quote because I often see with my colleagues that will have their moments of impatience with a child, how they automatically label them as a problem child. It saddens me that they do not look into the core of why a child misbehaves or has trouble adjusting in a class setting. I know it is difficult when you have a class full of children to just concentrate on one but I think teachers need to be more open-minded and open-hearted to those that struggle.
